Support for JSP??
« on: June 11, 2002, 06:19:20 am »
Hey folks,

Just a quick question... we are evaluating EA and are thus far very impressed. However we have come accross a slight problem and that is we need to be able to reverse engineer some JSP files. Am I missing something in the UI that will let me do this, or is this a feature that EA does not support yet?

If this is unsupported is support planned for the future?

Many thanks

Jason

I'm working on the same thing.  Actually it's a combination of JSP, HTML etc.  I got the Java files loaded ok, but when importing the data through the import directory dialog box I notice there is a drop down box that says JAVA in it.  One of the other options is HTML.  I tried that and the list of files being processed streamed by and I noticed some of them were jsp files.  The packages were created along with blank diagrams.  I have another post in here asking what happened to the diagrams.

Hello,

At the moment EA does not support importing JSP and the HTML option that Al has mentioned should not be shown in the list.  We were actually using for testing purposes, therefore if you select the HTML option it will not import anything.  Sorry for the confusion.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the clarification. One further question, is support for JSP roadmapped for future support yet?

Cheers
