Lost Connector after reloading controlled packages

I share lot of components, organized into controlled packages, between different projects.  But when a component has changed and i want to reload it, i lose all inheritance, aggregations and dependencies in the main project.  I know that EA deletes the package and re-creates it.

Does anyone know how i can work around this behaviour?
