importing user interface

Hi,

I'm using EA 7.0.817 and Visio 2003 for my work. Usually we create our user interfaces (standard windows xp style) in visio.
For the konzeptional work (descriptins of the fields, buttons and so on) we work with EA. I was woundering if there is any chance to import my visio (vsd/vdx) files into EA. I found the visio importer but this tool doesn't work for user interfaces. It supports only UML diagramms. If I choose one of them, EA creats UML element types for my buttons and textfields.

problem is not the window itself. I can use a screenshot instead of the imported file. But if there is a chance generating all my gui elements automatically, it would save my lots of time.

Any help or hints are welcome!

I think you are stuck with writing an add-in.

It doesn't sound too difficult, but you would be vulnerable to stylistic variance in how your users create the Visio diagrams.

If you can live with the screenshots then the Alternate Image is something for you. You can use that for your screen classes in EA.
