Can someone advise if i can suppress the message "The name you entered has a space embedded and may cause code generation problems. Continue?"

You can try ticking the box for the option "No warning for spaces in class names" in Tools/Options/Objects

That works for classifier names only.

AFAIK for feature names you're stuck with the dialog.

Yeah that won't work for me - my particular problem is related to attributes

I should have been more clear.

I have submitted the feature request to allow us to turn off confirmation for features (attributes and operations). We can already do so for elements. I also asked that these to options (features and elements) be separate, so we have individual control.
