Change color of inactive selected items Windows 7

Since we upgraded to Windows 7 I'v had numerous complaints of users saying they can't see which element is selected in the project browser anymore.
Apparently the color used for inactive selected items has changed in Windows 7 to a very very light shade of gray that is almost not distinguishable from the white background.
