Finding Classifier in Browser
« on: September 27, 2009, 03:18:11 pm »
Before I submit a feature request, I thought I'd check that there isn't already an easy mechanism to find the Classifier of an instance in the browser.[EDIT: Found it by accident: [Ctrl+Alt+G]  However, it should appear on the context menu of the Instance...
(if you search the forum - which I did AFTER I stumbled across it - you'll find references to the shortcut)]

Normally, the instance is located as a child under the Classifier, so finding the instance in the browser (using [Alt+G]) will locate you close to the  Classifier.

However, there's no requirement for the two (related) items to be collocated in the browser and if they aren't then it can be difficult to locate the classifier given only the instance on the diagram.

TIA,
Paolo

Sadly this does not work for attribute classifiers so my vote would go in this direction :)
