Create multiple connectors from a selection
« on: September 26, 2013, 06:37:14 pm »
Hi

It would be really handy if we could create the same type of connector from a selection of element to a target element.

process :
- select the elements e.g. 5 classes you need to link to a main class via an aggregation
- press a key e.g. ctrl, alt... => result the quick linker arrow is displayed on all selected elements
- draw a link from either quicklinker to the main class, select the link type (e.g. Aggregration to Whole) => result: 5 aggregation links are created from each class to the target class

this could be useful for many diagrams : link all use cases to a single actor or vice versa, link several activities to a gateway...

What do you think?

thanks
Guillaume

If it helps, you can create multiple connectors using the Relationship Matrix: Ctrl+Click to select multiple cells, then right-click one of them...

Thanks for this workaround.
Do you think the described feature could be logged for future enhancements in EA?
