Bookmark a package to avoid searching everyday
« on: April 11, 2014, 05:59:54 pm »
hi,
I was wondering if there is way to create bookmark in your repository:
we have a rather complex repository, with many sub-sub-sub packages & models. To avoid searching for specific models every new day, is there a way to keep bookmarks / favorites so you can just click them and EA opens them instantly?
thanks

Shift+Space. Works only for diagram elements, but you can run a predefined search. So not the worst.

Hi,

with Views, Model Views you can create favorits.

The free EnarSpy from LieberLieber also supports bookmarks.

Another possibility is to use the Keyword or... field to mark the package element as favorite. Then a simple search and you have your favorite elements/packages in the search view.

I found it:

instead of browsing/searching through the whole repository each time, you can also add Favorites via the ELEMENT BROWSER
-      From Model Views:
o      Create New Views
o      Create New Favorites
o      Drag & drop your favorites in this folder

To open them in the repository : simply right-click Favorites > In Project Browser

Thanks all
