How to change associations between elements
« on: August 12, 2006, 08:52:37 pm »
If there is an association between element a and element b, now I would like change the association to between element a and element c, how to operate?

In rose, I can just drap one endpoint of the association to another element.  In EA, when I try to drap one endpoint of the association to another element, it just move the location of the association.

So how to operate?

There is a short cut for this. Press shift, then click near the association end you want to reassign; the cursor will change. Click the new target and the association will change.

This handles the Set Source and Target option found on the context menu (right click) of an association. I'll not go into more detail since version 6.5 seems to 'rewire' these Play around a bit, you'll find it.
No, you can't have it!
