How to change RTF report generated diagrams scale?
« on: March 14, 2008, 04:49:27 am »
Hi,

I'm using the basic requirements template that ships with EA to generate an RTF report for my requirement diagrams. However, the generated diagram pictures are not scaled/enlarged to fit the available page size. They appear "too small".
I suppose it's only a switch I have to set to get the scaling done. But where can I find it?

Regards,
Max

Thanks for this tip.

I played around with the various diagram scaling options, without effect. Guess it's as the help-topic "Scale image to page size" states: The image is not scaled up to fill the page, but it is scaled down if it exceeds the current page boundary.

So no chance to enlarge an image as whole. But maybe: Is there a way to increase the font size in RTF generated images?

Hi,

I managed to get the up-scaling done. I needed to switch the Diagram Format from "Metafile" to "Bitmap" on the Advanced tab of the Generate RTF Documentation dialog.
 :)

The latest version of EA - version 7.1, now supports scaling diagrams across multiple pages in RTF generated reports.
See the entry from RoyC above, as well as:
