arrowhead on association in Use Case diag
« on: August 21, 2007, 05:24:31 am »
Apologies - this seems such a simple thing to want to do but I can't see how it can be done.

I have a Use case model with an association between an actor & a package (containing use cases). I wish to have the association (as a solid line) indicate the initiator of the use case by having an arrowhead on the target end - in this case the actor initiating the use case by having the arrow head on the package end of the line.

I have looked at all the possibilities in the association properties but none of them give me the option of selecting the end type.

Can anyone help ?

Thanks,
Dave.

Hi Dave,

There is such an option, but it is very easy to miss.

Open the Tools | Options | Links dialog. Check the Show Uses arrowheads box near the end of the list.

David
No, you can't have it!
