X::Y notation for table?
« on: December 14, 2007, 06:08:14 am »
Hello,

I don't know how I did it, but I was modelling tables X and Y, which have a relationship.  But the name for the table X is now Y::X, which I assume is like an inheritance thing, or something... How do I remove that, because it's table X.

Take a look at the diagram properties dialog, either the Diagram or the Elements tab. Look for the option to show table owner, and turn it off.
No, you can't have it!

It was already off.  I don't understand what happened.  Also, note that it is missing in the Project Browser.

It turns out that I must have accidentially dragged it underneath the other table (as a child), so it created a hierarchy that way.  Don't know how I did that, but when I dragged it back to the root, it worked.
