Generate RTF Document template question
« on: July 28, 2008, 09:26:45 am »
I think I may have asked the wrong question before so I might ask again. I wish to put in Pkg.Name into a second postion in an RTF document template. For the first position, I just 'ticked' the Package box under Sections so I cant do that again for the second position.

How can I type in package>{Pkg.Name}<package and have EA recognise it as a key area.

As stated earlier - Package.name can be placed in the Package Section but not in nested Sections (except Element):
Package>
{Package.name}
Diagram>
 ...  x Not here
 <Diagram.
Element>
can use: {Element.ParentPackage}
<Element
{Package.name}
<Package

If you need to place it twice but outside the package level, then it is best to look at using the Virtual Documents to integrate two templates each with the different Package positionsing.

Yes, but I thought there was a way to have the Template recognise my typed in 'package> < package' as a new key but unfortuntely not :(

Appreciate your assistance.
