Feature visibility under alternate image

I have applied an alternate image to my class, but now I am unable to see the notes, tags and attributes, even though these are ticked on the feature visibility screen.
I have made my image transparent in Visio, saved it in .wmf format hoping that would resolve the issue, but with no success.
Is it possible to view element's features once the alternate image is applied? If yes, how?

Not the prettiest solution, but it certainly works. This way I don't have to use Feature Visibility, instead use linked notes to display an element note, attributes and tags.
