generate unit test step-by-step instructions?
« on: June 28, 2011, 03:41:22 am »
Hi,

I'm beginning to wonder if your docs are up to date.

I followed the instructions (scattered around as they seem to be) to generate unit tests from an imported code directory.

However, the docs refer to an operation using the 'generate' facility (F11) but when I perform that operation, there is no reference to an option for unit tests or nunit, or...

So where in the docs is the precise list of steps for creating a unit test class based on an imported class with public methods?

Thanks,

Kimball

What release are you using?  For 907, the procedures you require are in Visual Execution Analyzer | Unit Testing | Set Up Unit Testing.

Incidentally, this is a user forum, for users to raise and discuss points about EA and its use. All Sparx employee responses on this forum are informal and ad hoc, and are made by only a small number of employees; the majority do not monitor the forum. If you want to address Sparx Systems, use either a Bug Report or a Feature Request, or send an email to [email protected].
