Trying EA and looking for Evaluation Guide.
« on: October 16, 2004, 11:17:45 am »
Hi,

I am looking for an UML tool for my company and just started trying EA and comparing it to the competitors.

I was looking for an evaluation guide, something that would give me a walk-through the system and show the best features. I really liked the manual and help but going through 1000 pages manual is not really an efficient way to evaluate. A 50 pages evaluation guide to go along the trial version would give a way better overview of the system and allow me to give a fair evaluation of EA.

I am comparing EA with Borland Together for Visual Studio and Rational XDE and they both offer walk-through evaluation guide type documents. You can see them here to have an idea of what I am looking for:

ftp://ftpc.borland.com/pub/together/techpubs/tvs2/gettingStarted.pdf

Is there such document for EA?

Thanks a lot!  :)
