Edit properties of multiple elements.
« on: October 07, 2004, 03:03:58 am »
The ability to edit properties of multiple elements at once (for example change status for all use cases) will extremely increase work efficiency.
It would be very good to enhance multi-select context menu in diagram with “Edit properties of all selected” dialog.
Similar feature is multi-select in ProjectView (for example for deleting of multiple object at once).

It's ok guys we didn't miss the posts ... and in case I didn't mention ... coming soon :P

Regarding property updates for multiple elements- definitely under consideration, but probably not for release in the immediate term.

Ben

Welcome to the [glb]multiple select[/glb] fanclub.

Use the latest EA version and you're an active member.

Maybe we should start "Cato-ing" for [glb]Common properties 4 multiple select[/glb]

like Sargasso did for [glb]Multiple select[/glb]

Cato-ing : After Cato the Elder (Marcus Porcius Cato), who ended each speech with "Ceterum censeo Carthaginem esse delendam."

So, not the Cato who had the job of attacking Inspector Clouseau at unexpected moments ... right, glad that's cleared up.

Hi Bruno,
what would we do without internet?

PROCURATORE   A buyer/procurer of gladiators or Tiro (trainee) gladiators for Ludus Gladiatorium (school)

AFAIK Clouseu is more kind of
LICTOR - LICTORIS   Attendent/s or bodyguard/s of a magistrate;  one of which would carry the fasces as the symbol of the magistrates authority.

(to be found at http://www.legionxxiv.org/glossaryL/)

Hi Thomas,

Perhaps we should request a Latin version of EA? :-)

But: procurator (not procuratore) means "an agent"... I think it fits well. Perhaps we could agree on "praefectus" then? :-)
Interesting site... but heavily military-oriented and not necessarily error free...
