Add a diagram from a jpg image
« on: January 09, 2016, 12:19:36 am »
Hi,
I want to add a diagram from my file system which I had saved previously as a jpg image. I know there is a method to add new diagram, but I am not able to find any where i can load it from a image file. any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Sandeep,

There's no way to recreate a diagram from an image.

You can add an existing image to a diagram, but that won't recreate the elements or connectors.

If you create a diagram and expand the Common toolbox, you'll find an Image icon in there. Create one of those and EA will open a dialog where you can upload the image.

Or just drag and drop from Windows Explorer onto a diagram...
