Information on Addin's

I am interested in doing some customisation on EA. Tried the Automation interface, but it always seems to start a new editor. Doesn't seem to register in the running object table.

Would an addin, let me tap into the current session and if so, where is the docs for it?

If you download the lastest build you'll find that the running table is now supported.

Also, yes, addins let you tap into the current session, and information on their creation may be obtained from the Add-ins topic in the Help file supplied with the download.
