custom documents fail to update

the custom documents feature looks promising, however at the moment It looks to be broken using custom fragments.
Updating a section containing a fragment with a SQL search, not only fail to update: it deletes the previous context

Update Dynamic Section
The main characteristic of Dynamic content is that it drawn from items in the model that are subject to frequent change. As you read the document, an item might be updated by another team member. To ensure that you are seeing the latest instance of an item, select this option to refresh the item details from the model.

There is also an option available from the context menu for the main body of the Custom Document, to update all Dynamic sections of the document at the same time, as described earlier.

Can confirm this problem, it seems like i cant delete the sections that wont update aswell.
You found a work around ?

Same here. It is very annoying that apparently, it is even not possible to delete the corrupted section and insert the content again. I was told that "the custom Document issue should be fixed in EA 16 build 1627 or greater." I've tested it and it looks like they implemented some kind of workaround with a few additional automated steps added to the updating process. However, it still does not look to me like a professional solution.

I gave up to custom documents for now and returned to document generators. past Sparxian Experience show that they may , or not!, improve that in the future
