Integration Requirements Tools - EA
« on: August 01, 2023, 06:18:28 pm »
Hi All,

Does anyone has experience with environments that involves requirement tools + EA?
In particular I know that some tools provide a direct interface (e.g. JAMA), while others uses third part integration (e.g. Polarion with Lieber Lieber LemonTree). Do you have any detail about it and what is the best one in terms of interface?
Thanks,

Michele

Hi Michele,

The beauty of EA is that it's open and therefor easy to make an own interface. We have to work with a specific dutch tool for requirements management (Relatics) and we build our own import/export interface. The importer makes sure it only imports the changed requirements.

Cheers,
Rob

I did similar things with DOORS. There's a license for DOORS integration but that did not fit out needs. Making our own interface was a bit of work but finally worth the effort.
