Boundary, Controller, Entity - generalizable?
« on: February 21, 2006, 04:18:56 am »
Hi all,

I think the core of my question is in the subject.

1) In the ZicomMentor is written these stereotyped classes are generalizable.

2)
  A) the generalization connection is not present in the Analysis toolbox
  B) draving the associacion causes"The requested connection is not UML compliant"

Little bit confusing ...

A) you can modify that with View/Perspectives
B) Be sure to use a stereotyped class instead of an object. The defaults in the toolbox are objects, but you can create classes and assign appropriate stereotypes (or create an own profile). Still confusing, but UML isn't simple :o

THANKS!

Clear now - I oversee I'm working with objects, not classes in my diagram!

How can I suspect EA/UML? ;)

Also thanks for the Perspective hint, but I will keep the toolboxes as they are to prevent another confusions ...
