Cannot load p4 locked packages

If a package is configured for single open in perforce and is open for edit, EA will not allow others to load the package. The work-around is to let EA handle the single open restriction and leave p4 configured for multi-open.

The work-around is costing me because developers are not noticing that they have single open files locked when they leave. They look at the p4 change list and don't see the lock icon they've been trained to check for. It proving too easy to overlook the package files (I've done it myself).

This is kind of a nit-picky thing but it is also probably easy to fix.

You seem to be talking about the same thing in another thread. Perhaps you can cross reference these. That way all the discussion can be focussed in one place.

Or better yet, copy the text from the other post to this thread, and use the Remove button to delete that post.

Then, report this fault directly to Sparx support. Go to the Registered Users page and use either the link to the Bug Report page or the Support email link.
