Import Source Code Greyed Out
« on: November 15, 2008, 08:11:38 am »
Hi, I am relatively new to EA so hopefully this is an easy question to answer.

The option for me to add source code is greyed out (either by right clicking on the background of a diagram, or right clicking on the package in the menu explorer and selecting code engineering).  I searched through most of the menu items/options and can't find anything that I am missing.  Can anyone help please?

I am using the corporate version that has a shared model under version control, but I have it checked out when I am trying this.

If user security is enabled, then make sure you have the appropriate permissions.  The import from the diagram could also be disabled if a diagram has been locked.  That could be done with or without user security.

It turned out it was just a permissions issue.  That was fixed and now the option to add source code is available.  Thanks!
