Report elements from external packages
« on: June 22, 2012, 12:50:37 pm »
From time to time there is a requirement to generate a RTF report for a model elements that have no commonality of packaging.

The way to achieve this is to put the elements in a diagram, make some arcane gestures, and at a very basic level your can achieve your goal.

Because this diagram isn't of much use, it can be just a container, there seems little point in showing it in the document.

However, <bug> selecting diagram option "exclude image" makes the RTF elements not show </bug>!

Has anyone else had this experience?

Also, on the same subject, does anyone have any idea what drives the order of the reporting of the contained elements?

Yes I have been trying to do the same thing and have been frustrated by the fact that excluding the image prevents rtf documentation being generated for the diagram elements. I agree this is a bug
