HELP -where have my diagrams gone?

Hi
I am working on a model stored in a SQL server repository.
I cannot view any diagrams!!
If I double click a diagram icon in the project browser I get a tab for the diagram but the window is showing the EA start page.
If I right click on the diagram page and select 'properties' then I get a properties dialog with one of the elements that is supposed to be on the diagram.
A colleague can see these diagrams without issue.
I tried re installing EA but to no avail

So I tried opening a different project(.eap) - the result is the same
So I tried on a different machine - the result is the same
So I got my colleague to log onto a different machine - the result is the same although he can view diagrams on his own machine

Has anyone experienced anything like this before
Has anyone any suggestions I can try?

Never heard of anything like that. My idea would be a) some strange graphics behavior (since I suppose EA to use systems graphics capabilities). But then what would drawing a class rectangle be different from drawing a window frame. Or b) some even stranger virus.

I got another idea c) that is might be connected with an add-in.

If re-installing EA does not help, you probably have to think of a clean install of your machine.

I was running 10.04 but just installed 10.07 and everything is back to normal!!!!!!
