Artifact documents
« on: October 30, 2006, 11:44:50 am »
I like to add an Artifact document to a package. I expect that I have to create a new Element of a specific type (what type?), but how cas I add RTF data to this element?

I know that the RTF data is in ZIP format, but I cannot find an automation example or is this not possible with the automation interface of EA?

You won't be able to do this through the automation interface. Someone asked about this recently and the answer was no.

There is an artifact element that appears on some of the toolbars - try looking at the Component toolbar. You may have to change your perspective to make the toolbar visible, and perhaps user either View | Configure Perspectives, or Tools | Options | UML Element Toolbox, to make the element visible.

Is that what you need?
No, you can't have it!
