red triangle
« on: December 17, 2002, 02:18:52 pm »
Some how, I got an up-side-down red triangle on top of a table in my logical diagram.  Don't know how it got there and mean.  Could not figure it out.  Can someone offer some help.

Thank You

Hi all,

The red triangle is called 'bookmark', and you can show/hide it
by pushing SPACE key after focusing object.

In detail, please read help file ;):
Project Management->Manage bookmarks

Interesting... except I never set a bookmark for the objects where this occurred!

Thanks,

G'day Fred,

Like Takeshi KOUNO wrote, to set a bookmark on an object, you only need to have the focus on the object and press the spacebar to bookmark it.

I figure you probably just pressed the space bar by mistake or your space bar is sticky.

If yer running into a lot of bookmarks that you never intended on, you might want to, under the view menu, edit your shortcuts and set something other than space bar for bookmarks (or no shortcut at all for bookmarks).
Cheers and best regards.

Jason,

Thanks... I just checked the bookmark shortcut on the menu today... space would not have been my choice for the default shortcut!  Anyway, thanks for the tip... I'll delete the shortcut key since I never seem to have a need to set a bookmark (at least not often enough to merit a shortcut key!).

Cheers and Best Regards,
