Evaluation Editing Source Code
« on: October 20, 2003, 06:58:21 pm »
Hi.

I'm evaluating EA 3.60.647 (Professional).

I was looking at source code editing and don't have a complete view of what happens.  Observations include:

1)  Alt 7 brings in an editor when a class has focus.

2)  F12 brings up no editor when a class has focus.

3)  Class/Properties/File brings up an editor (VS) after a file is selected and I hit launch.

4)  I initially selected VS for editing VB.NET code then changed it to another editor.  I have not seen that other editor invoked.

Can anyone explain to me the ins and outs of editing source from EA.  (In this case I'm looking at VS.NET and C# is also of interest,  SQL Server editing (sprocs) would be good too!)

Thanks.

Has anyone got a timeline on the VS integration I saw mentioned?
