Delete old or unused Models from Start Page
« on: August 04, 2004, 01:06:13 pm »
Is there a way to delete items from the "Recent Models" list on the start page?  I have searched through EA and the help but can't find anything explaining how to do this.  I have a list of models there that I either used for a tutorial or some other task that I would like removed from the list.

You'll find the recent list in your Registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sparx Systems\EA400\EA\Recent File List

If you don't feel safe editing the Registry, don't :)

You can delete projects by going to the open project dialogue.  This allows you to select from the list and click remove.

Eeek! Don't touch the registry!  :o

There's an easier way: If you select "File / Open" from the menu, a dialog comes up with the recent file list and a "Remove Selection from List" button.

Ah, well done Simon, beat me to it!

Thanks for the quick response!  I thought it was probably something easy I was missing.
