Rearranging the RTF-template contents
« on: May 19, 2005, 12:30:08 am »
I would like to rearrange the RTF-template so that the attributes tables comes before the requirements.

When I try to cut-and-paste I get the error message that this is locked and not possible.

What do I have to do?

Bump this one, too. Any answers out there.

This is pretty important for me as my company might consider EA if its document generation is more flexible with output.

The documentation covering the RTF-aspects is skimpy at best, and an improved users guide would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks alot in advance.

If you're using the new RTF template editor in v5.0, I believe all you need to do is select the Attribute section in the sections tree on the left hand side of the template editor, and then use the up/down buttons above to move the section up/down.

EA then modifies the report structure shown on the right hand side automatically (there's no need to cut and paste).

HTH.

Oh yes, of course. The little hands pointing up and down -- I should have noticed.

Thanks for the tip (and not bad for a newbie by the way)
