EA user problem - why do associations disappear?

Hi,

it's the 1st time I use EA (ver 4.5)  for a "bigger" case (several diagrams).
I've drawn several communication diagrams usind the same class instances for different use cases.
It happens that after associating two objects in one diagram (to make a function call p.e.), in the other diagrams appears this link also (but not always).
On the other side, when I delete some links from the diagram (cause I don't need them in that scenario), they disappear also in some other diagrams, deleting also the associated function calls.

Am I doing something wrong?

It's time to upgrade to 6.1. You will likely not get any good advice/support for 4.5 :-/
