How to narrow an element box in class diagram?

Hi,

is it possible to narrow the element box in a class diagram smaller than the content? I have the problem, that one class has one element function with 8 parameters, which blows up the width of the element box. I tried to smaller the box with the mouse resizers, but the size jumps back to a minimal size which shows the whole content.
Best would be, to press f.i. the Alt-Key when resizing and - voilá - the box will be smaller and the long lines will show up with dots (...) at their end.  

It there any possiblity?
