AFAIK the only way for the RM is to create a separate RTF (context menu inside RM) and include this externally.

Hello everybody,

I've got the same problem. I understand that I can export the matrix to a CSV file and then import it into Excel but this requires to layout the spreadsheet manually every time I regenerate the matrix.

I would like to use the original layout of the EA matrix just as if it were a standard diagram and export it into an RTF file.

Is there any way to achieve this?

thanks in advance

cheers
Manfred
Best regards,
Manfred

Only as printed PDF :-/
Or you write a RTF export for Excel :P

A lateral solution is to have a formatted Excel spreadsheet linked to "look" at the CSV file.   8)

First open the original CSV file.

Open a new workbook, select and copy the CSV
Paste special as a link int the second workbook.

You can now format the second workbook to your heart's content and it will update as the CSV file changes.

Hi Paolo,

Thanks for your advice! I'll try that. However that's a bit of a problem since all my documentation is based on .doc files that include the generated RTF bits. So I will have to convert the excel sheet into doc tables. :(

have a nice day,

cheers Manfred
