Partitions/lanes as a closed box rather than open
« on: March 28, 2007, 01:15:49 am »
Does anyone know whether you can add a partition (Activity Diagram) or lane or pool (BPMN) in EA where the end of it is closed (i.e., a solid rectangle) rather than the default open ended one?

Thanks

Nick

Is a boundary OK for you?

Do you mean to use a boundary instead of a partition or as something to put over the top of it to give the partition the appearance of being closed?

Hi Nick,

As far as I know you can't however, we were just discussing at work today that partitions should have an option to close the end.

Formally request a feature from Sparx.  You can use the Request a Feature link via the Support link at the top of the page.
Place a reference back to this topic in the message.  That way, the Sparxians can see any ongoing discussion.
If you get a response, please add it to the topic.

It is just an idea - a work-around. I meant using a boundary over a partition to be able to add clasifier to your partition.

Nice one thanks. I'll suggest the feature to Sparx as well.
