New Computer
« on: July 26, 2007, 06:03:42 am »
Hi,

I have an existing version of Enterprise Architect - V6.0. I need to move my license to a new computer. What is the best way to do this?

Also, how much does an upgrade to V7 cost?

The cost to upgrade from one version of EA to another is dependant on whether or not you have a current registered user subscription. If your subscription is current, you can download and install the new version of EA at no additional cost. If your registered user subscription has expired you can purchase a subscription renewal, a renewal will give you access to new builds and versions of EA for a further 12 months. Subscription renewal fees are calculated at one-third of the current full license cost for the edition you hold at the time of renewal.

For more information on purchasing a subscription renewal you can contact the sales department at [email protected].

To move EA from one PC to another, you should back up your model files and then transfer them to your new PC. You can use your existing registration key for the installation of EA on your new machine. You should also ensure that you limit your concurrent usage of EA to the number of licenses that you own.
