Arrows amking me mad
« on: August 07, 2007, 01:45:45 am »
When placing objects in a fragment, close to one of it edges, and trying to connect the object with the fragment the arrow always takes the shortest path, unless I pin it.

It is very anoying! If I want the arrow to go to a different edge then closests, I have to move the object to be near the destination edge, pin the arrow, and only then I cna move back the object where I wanted it.

Is it anoyng any one else?

Hi Martin,

I wasn't sure what you were talking about until I remembered that same annoyance when I came across a similar problem last week!  Mine was trying to get an exception link from the edge of an enclosing activity to an internal one.  So it looks as though it's a general problem with end-points that are between enclosing and enclosed objects where the enclosed object is near to the enclosing edge...
As with other bug reports, we (the users) recommend you formally report it to the Sparx support email address:
[email protected], or use the support link at the top of this page.
You can reference the post in your report and then Sparx can view any additional commentary.
It would also be good if you could report any Sparx response into the Topic.
