State diagram code generation

This may be obvious but I've spent some time trying to work this out to no avail. I would like to generate code from a state machine that I have created. I tried for both C# and C++ but get no implementation for either language.

I really hope the answer isn't 'State machines are for diagramming purposes only'.

Your help is most appreciated.

See this post for a possible answer. Your timing appears to be good, as EA 7.5 is expected to enter beta testing in the immediate future.
