how to define filenames for HTML report
« on: April 27, 2009, 12:55:05 am »
Hi,
I export various diagrams to HTML and reference these diagrams from another tool. When adding a diagram to the package (to be output) the filenames of the html files are changed.
Is there a way to define the filenames before doing the export?
Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks

No, you can't specify filenames.  But you can reference a page by guid.

<Path>\index.htm?guid=E4938636-895C-4196-A5B2-FF3D5F30FC15

That will maintain consistent through all generations of the HTML.

Unfortunately this doesn't work for my output. I always get the start page (index.htm) of the output. :(
Is this feature available in version 7.0? If yes, is there anything else to take care of, e.g. in the web style template used for the output?

Thanks

No, that feature wasn't added until late in 7.1.
