Sharing glossary terms
« on: October 10, 2009, 05:39:31 am »
We are using EA with shared packages via SVN, and would like to share glossary terms, in a similar "push" fashion. Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to be possible - the only option I see is to export the glossary terms and then have all users import them into their local models.

Have I missed something, or are we trying to use some functionality in a way that was not intended?

Keith,

I think this is indeed not foreseen by the EA VC integration.

Versioning prinicply works on the Package data. You might like to look at using a Package for the Glossary to ensure that is can be versioned more easily - see: http://www.sparxsystems.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?num=1255510176
