XMI compatible with the Eclipse UML2 Plu
« on: September 11, 2011, 08:21:24 am »
Hi, I'm trying to export a .eap file into TopBraid Composer in order to convert the UML model into an OWL ontology. TopBraid can only import "XMI compatible with the Eclipse UML2 Plugin". I'm running Enterprise Architect 9.0.  I tried exporting to the following formats but none of them worked.

1. UML 2.0 (XMI 2.1)
2. UML 2.1 (XMI 2.1)
3. OMG XMI

Can you let me know if there is any other format I should try, or any other way to do that?

Thanks.

Hi Dave,

I am facing some problems to export the model in a way that Eclipse can understand.

I am trying to use some Eclipse tools to make this, following this tutorial:
http://nirmalsasidharan.wordpress.com/2010/02/11/ea-uml2-conversion/

i could export the EA to UML2.

I still have problems to export stereotypes, but i think this is because i don't know for sure how to use the tool in a good way.
