How to get those pesky  Level numbers!!
« on: April 22, 2013, 05:26:48 pm »
I have level numbering turned on and providing I take some care (no inserts or deletes), the numbers suffice as unique requirements IDs. My question is, can I get at these numbers in order to cross reference or trace them from other documents?

Hello Doug,
I am not sure from your post what you asking, but you can report these via the RTF report generator: Element section -  Level Number.
If you have imported the external documents to Linked Documents in the model - you can Block the Requirements text and create a new element with the text hyperlinked to this new element.

Basically I have 2 packages representing different documents and I want to reference paragraph numbers (level numbers) from one document to the other.
