Documenting Tips Needed - EA Models and Word Docs
« on: March 09, 2015, 10:18:12 pm »
Hi
In our BAU/Small Changes team,we regularily get a lot of Business Requirement Documents arriving ...each has the usual Business sections of:-
Sign off / Approver /Date
Background/Context
Business Benefits
Business Objectives
Critical Success Factors
etc...
These sections, once documented, will not change too much for each BRD

We can then use EA to catalogue all the Hi/Detailed Requirements etc(which may be more organic and expand in detail as we discover more)

My first thought is to create a Word Master Document (for each) with all the Business stuff in and then to include a Word Sub Document with the exported EA model details in - which can then be refreshed

But...Is there a much better way of doing this?

Ta
Guy

In EA 10 just create a template with all the unchanging stuff in the begining.
In EA 11 create a cover page template.
