Is there going to be any support for the UPDM in upcoming versions of EA ?

During this month, in the EA v7.1 that's implemented as Beta. EA will support UPDM and TOGAF frameworks.

No. It's been imminent for over a month now. All I can say is be patient. [How is left to the reader as an exercise, I certainly don't know.]

From the UPDM Beta 1 page:

"Full support for OMG's UML Profile for DoDAF/MODAF"

Of course you could always run the beta and see. You can uninstall it if you don't like the results.
