Customising stereotypes + Images
« on: January 19, 2013, 03:40:28 am »
Hi,
I'm trying to create a graphical stereotype without succes (I succeed to change the appearance or applying an image (.emf file) but not to overide the appearance whith shape script.
Is somebody have a small document explaining briefly how to do with an example.
In fact I would like to extend Win32 classes with new standard one we are using internaly.

An other small problem we've got : as we are supporting "old" systems, we would like to represent some classes or instances representing screens with an image and to use them in different diagram without having to associate the class (or instance) with the appropriate image each time. Is it possible to use a property such as the classes will always be replaced by the chosen image ? It is such a stereotype, I know, but as it is for a single class, stereotype is not the appropriate way to do, I guess.

Thanks for the help.

What's your problem with shape scripts? The help has quite a number you can simply copy/paste to play with.

Regarding images: you can only apply them manually. At least I don't know a simple way to do what you want.
