Configurable notes editor font

I believe that possibility to change default font for notes editor would greatly enhance user's experience. The same is true for other fields, where relatively long text is entered. For example - I'd like to move notes editor to another monitor, but its text is then barely readable. Simple configuration option to change font/size for text editors would be greatly appreciated.
Is there any plan or feature request regarding this issue?
