Support for Microsoft Visio 2010

Can you please confirm if the current MDG Link for Visio is supported with Microsoft Visio 2010.

Also, while I have installed the Add-In it does not show up in the Add-Ins tab. What are somethings I can check to try and trouble shoot the isue?

Can't provide you with an official is it supported, but I can tell you that it does work.

My initial problems witht the addin not showing up were related to the installation and the locked down Vista OS that I am using at work.

Is it possible to export diagrams from Enterprise Architect to Visio 2010? SEP is a great product for documenting requirements but to be honest it isn't the pretiest. I tend to make a lot of my models visually appealing in visio simply because documents are not only for developers and architects and also we integrate a lot with SharePoint 2010.   8-)

I was just asked to look into the possiblity of importing EA diagrams into Visio. Have you found any way to create a Visio diagram from an EA diagram?

Depends on the types of diagrams I guees. I have succesfully created logical/Physical Data Models in Visio from EA.

Download and install the EA Visio Addin.

The Visio Importer add-in only assists with importing from Visio to EA.  There is no known way to import EA diagrams into Visio at this time.  EA's standard method of data interchange with other modeling applications is XMI - but Visio does not support XMI import.
