The arrow buttons on the File Specification pane in CSV Import/Export Specification don’t scroll the pane when they move the item to the top or the bottom of the pane.  We have large imports with many columns in the CSV and so it is REALLY annoying having to use multiple operations to move an item that's added at the bottom to the top!

I strongly disagree that it should wrap. If I'm pressing down I don't want something to jump to the top of the list.

I can't think of a single example of something that does that, but
I understand a feature request for easier ordering controls. Two other possibilities could be move top/move bottom buttons or drag/drop reordering.

Maybe I wasn't clear, I didn't mean jumping to the top of the list I meant when the item gets to the top of the pane, not the top of the list, the display doesn't scroll, but the item disappears, so you don't know where it is.  Pressing the arrow again moves the item, but you can't see where it's gone.  The display should scroll so that you can always see the context of the item in its progression up  and down the list.

Have you actually tried the pane and buttons?  Does it behave how I said?  If it does, what is the justification for such ludicrous behaviour?

Okay, I take back my disagreement. You were clear and I was reading your post before my first coffee of the day.

I don't see a problem with the list keeping the selected item visible.

Is my modified reply better?

(my emphasis)  A mitigating, but avoidable, situation...  ;D  [1]

Yes, modified response is fine.

Happy Friday everyone!
