Bullets in lined documents in virtuasl document generation
« on: April 27, 2020, 09:37:30 pm »
I'm using EA 15.1 build 1528. I'm using linked documents for some of my documents as it allows multiple levels of headers.
When I create bulleted lists in the linked document, just using the Paragraph->Bullet command.
I get the paragraphs hanging but with no bullet. The first line is not indented.
Is this a known bug?

You might want to look into the styles in the stylesheet and the differences between the styles in you your templates and the styles in your linked document.

Make sure you update the styles in both to the same stylesheet.

Thanks Geert,
I've finally got around to trying this further. I'm getting incorrectly formatted bullets from the linked documents and correct ones from the text in the package elements.
If I leave out my stylesheet and just rely on the virtual document templates for formatting, it all works correctly.
If I use Normal.rtf as the stylesheet, then all the bullets are incorrect.
At least it's working at the moment, but I have no idea why my overriding with the standard Normal.rtf produces tiny bullets rather than the normal Word defaults.
