Embedded elements and Add related element feature

We connect components through their ports in our application model. When I select a port and use option "Add --> Related elements" I get an Error: "When pasting embedded elements the parent elements must first exist in the same diagran" because the oposit element is also a port. - O.K. - But I am not who did it - it was EA architect.  So maybe should be corrected.
